Privacy

Detour is built to know as little about you as possible.

What we store

Your current game, your streak, your statistics and your settings are saved in your own browser’s local storage. They never leave your device and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data removes them.

What we don’t do

• No accounts, no sign-up, no email.
• No advertising, analytics or tracking scripts, and no third-party cookies.
• No word you type is sent anywhere: link checking runs entirely in your browser.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Changes

If Detour ever adds analytics or advertising, this page will be updated first and will say exactly what is collected and how to opt out.
